Are you tired of Pinterest yet? Neither are we. Nor are the 20 Million unique visitors that Pinterest.com had in the last year.
Compete just released statistics showing that Pinterest has quickly climbed to the top of the social ladder. According to the latest figures from Compete.com, “About 1 in 4 consumers reports that they are spending less time on other social media sites in favor of Pinterest [and] 39% of the market has changed their social networking behavior in some way due to Pinterest.”
Even better and more telling is this Compete.com statistic: “About 25% of consumers reported purchasing a product or service after discovering it on Pinterest – that number jumped to 37% amongst males.”
So if you are selling a product or service that can be portrayed in an image, quote, or video, you better get your Pinterest on by actively marketing your business. Just be careful, Pinterest is eerily addictive and you can quickly be distracted before your get your own products pinned. Use it wisely and it will benefit your bottom line.
