Donate Clothes for Our Veterans
It’s that time of year again. Please help BFO Make a Difference. We know everyone has some gently worn or even new clothes that are sitting in the back of your closets. This is your chance to make a difference. It’s spring! Clean out your closets and help support the men and women who have served our country.
BFO will be collecting gently worn or new men’s and women’s clothing along with brand-new packages of underwear and socks for their annual Be Found Spring Cleaning clothing drive. To donate items, bring them to the BFO Office located at 3304 N. Lincoln Ave. Chicago, IL 60657, from April 9th – 13th during regular business hours.
As mentioned in our Community Initiatives, BFO is committed to supporting the communities we live in. All donations will help our veterans who are serviced through the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. We need your help.
Jesse Brown VAMC provides care to approximately 62,000 enrolled veterans who reside in the City of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois and 4 counties in Northwestern Indiana. They also have 4 regional clinics and food pantry services.
We had tremendous success last year and surpassed our goal of 60 bags of clothing. We had 100% participation from our home office employees along with support from friends and families. Our remote employees joined in by donating bags of clothing to their local charities and sending packages of underwear and socks to our home office. This year, we are raising the bar to 100 bags and we are counting on you to help reach that goal.
We encourage our Chicago clients to participate, too! Please reach out to our Office Administrator, Julia Ebner at firstname.lastname@example.org or 773.904.1188, and she will work with you to plan a time to pick up the clothing items.
Now, clean out your closets! Bring your clean, gently worn or new men’s and women’s clothing to BFO from 4/9 – 4/13. Let’s help as many veterans as possible since they have given so selflessly to our country
