Recently, Dan Golden was elected to the Better Business Bureau of Chicago as part of the class of 2020. As BFO’s President and Chief Search Artist, he’s been instrumental in the company’s growth and culture. He’s also a great fit on the board of the Chicago BBB.

The Chicago BBB
The Better Business Bureau provides national and local consumer services. Thousands of consumers every year reach out to the BBB for information about businesses and in some cases for issue resolution. Businesses join it with the understanding they will provide their products and services ethically and in the interest of their customers and the business community at large. The Chicago BBB serves the city of Chicago, Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

The Vision and Purpose of the BBB
The BBB’s stated vision is for “an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers trust each other.” The organization’s mission includes encouraging best practices, creating a community of honesty in business and non-profits, and encouraging best practices through engagement with consumers and businesses alike.
Dan Golden is Excited to Join the Chicago BBB
Dan and the entire team at BFO share the same values as the Better Business Bureau. Dan and the executive team have engaged the Small Giants Community in their efforts to run a better business that serves clients, employees and the community. In an effort to give back, Dan will speak at the Conscious Capitalism conference in April.
“I’m very excited and honored to be joining the board with other distinguished business leaders in the Chicago area,” says Dan Golden. “We [BFO] has been a member of the BBB since our inception. My experience with the BBB as a consumer has led me to see the value of the trust and integrity accredited businesses need to uphold.”
As President and Chief Search Artist Dan has been instrumental in BFO’s growth from a local Chicago-based digital marketing agency to a international agency with offices in London and Singapore. He’s also been instrumental in making BFO a highly desirable place to work as recognized by the company’s #1 rank on the Ad Age Best Places to Work 2016 list.
