Want to go on a scavenger hunt?

BFO is excited to be hosting a scavenger hunt event with a charitable mission.

As you may know, we at BFO like to help our communities whenever we get the chance. You might also have heard that we plan to participate in the Hennepin Hundred later this year, which is a 100-mile relay race a team of Beefers will be taking on to benefit Cara, formally The Cara Program. We’re also pleased to announce that we’re having an additional charity event in September. This one’s a scavenger hunt, and it will also benefit the Cara organization.

What is Cara?

Cara is an organization that helps people overcome poverty and turn their lives around with career development and job placement services in the Chicagoland area. According to their website, the organization “prepares and inspires motivated individuals to break the cycles of homelessness and poverty, transform their lives, strengthen our communities, and forge paths to real and lasting success.” You can read more about Cara, its mission, and ways to help the cause here.

How do I participate?

Want to join the scavenger hunt? We’d love for more people to help us make a difference in the community and have some fun in the process! See the event details below:

  • Event Name: The Cara Game: Scavengers
  • Date: Saturday, September 16th, 2017
  • Time: 1-5pm (Hunt from 1-3pm, followed by the after party)
  • Location: Start & Finish @ BFO Office (3304 Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL)
  • Cost: $100/team (4 people per team, $25 per person)

Our hope is to raise $5,000 for Cara, and we’d love for you to join us in reaching this goal. So gather your crew and come out to have fun for a cause. After the race, join us for food, drinks, activities, and a 50/50 raffle at the office.    Register here today!
