Hot on the heels of Content Marketing World 2014, we’re already looking forward to next year’s event. Content Marketing World is the largest content events on the planet, and last week it brought in over 2,600 marketers, company leaders, freelancers, content managers, and PR professionals, including BFO’s own Grace Bishop and myself. Our experience left us with inspiration, new insights, and the motivation to work even smarter on another year of great content.
CMWorld was a fantastic success this year, with organizer, Joe Pulizzi and speaker, Andrew Davis setting an energetic tone for an inspirational, educational week in Cleveland. This event provides a wonderful platform for customized learning through a variety of tracks on every imaginable content marketing topic. Scott Stratten and Keynote, Kevin Spacey wrapped up the event with some fun, laughter, and new insights into how content is changing. A week full of enthusiastic leaders, smart workshops, and some of the best minds in the industry left us feeling thoughtful, creative, and ready to tackle the evolution of content marketing in 2015.
For Grace, CMWorld solidified the idea that content should save your audience time and money, not waste it. “There is more to content than just e-books,” she said. “It’s time to get creative.”
This past week in Cleveland made one thing especially clear to me: that the value conferences like CMWorld bring to the marketing industry can’t be overstated. Events like these give marketers a chance to share ideas, get inspired, catch up with old friends, and meet new ones. We’re all well aware of the constantly evolving world of content marketing, and that’s why it’s important for industry leaders as well as newbies to continue attending conferences and events that refresh and inspire.
Many thanks to the Content Marketing Institute for creating such an incredible event. We’re looking forward to Content Marketing World 2015.
