Basis, the most comprehensive media automation and intelligence platform in the industry, approached us with the challenge of a complete company rebrand - a rebrand that included a domain name change for the client!
THE CHALLENGE
Regal Bath & Kitchens, a full-service kitchen and bathroom remodeling company, faced significant challenges in improving their organic rankings for local search terms. Despite having only one physical location in Arizona, they needed to increase visibility across six different service areas: Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, and Queen Creek.
Additionally, the client didn’t have an internal development or content team, which meant they turned to BFO to create and implement the necessary changes on their website. With no prior blog section or structured content strategy in place, we got to work building a plan to drive local traffic.
THE SOLUTION
The team of SEO experts at BFO crafted a comprehensive strategy to address the client’s need for improved local visibility. Focusing on improving local SEO and building content to target high-value keywords across their service areas, our approach included:
- Conducting a full technical audit, Google My Business (GMB) and NAP audit, keyword research, and competitive analysis to understand opportunities for improvement.
- Implementing meta-data changes on service pages to target high-value, location-specific keywords like "Bathroom Remodeling" and "Kitchen Remodeling."
- Developing a local SEO strategy to create location-specific pages for their six service areas, with content optimized for 10 priority keywords per location.
- Revamping content on key service pages (Bathroom Remodeling, Kitchen Remodeling, Cabinet Refacing, Design) to focus more on explaining the services offered, rather than branding alone.
- Launching the local strategy by pushing 6 new location pages live, each with geo-targeted content.
Introducing a blog section with AI-assisted posts, edited and customized to reflect Regal Bath & Kitchens' branding, with posts like "Cost to Remodel a Bathroom" and "Small Bathroom Design Ideas."

- Google Search Console (GSC):
- Overall Clicks: Increased by 113% (YoY, May 19 - Aug 18)
- Overall Impressions: Increased by 88%
- Non-Brand Clicks: Increased by 845%
- Non-Brand Impressions: Increased by 111%
- SEMrush Keyword Performance:
- Page 1 Rankings: Improved by 138.46% (13 to 31 keywords)
- Page 2 Rankings: Improved by 218.75% (16 to 51 keywords)
- Overall Keyword Rankings (Positions 1-100): Improved by 173.44% (241 to 659 keywords)
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4):
- Location Pages: Users improved by 147, Sessions by 159, and Engaged Sessions by 117.
- Local Keyword Highlights:
- Phoenix: "Kitchen and bath remodel" improved from not ranking to position 9, and "Bathroom remodel ideas" improved to position 20.
- Mesa: "Cabinet refacing" improved from 16 to 7, and "Kitchen remodelers" jumped from not ranking to position 24.
- Chandler: "Kitchen and bath remodel" went from 16 to 1, and "Bathroom remodeling" jumped from 100 to 8.
- Gilbert: "Kitchen and bath remodel" went from 19 to 1, and "Kitchen designers near me" improved from 100 to 11.
Overall, our targeted content strategy across service pages and localized landing pages was instrumental in these results, significantly increasing the client’s online visibility in their desired service areas.
